I'm In the Money....

I hear all the time about people earning money with their blogs, so I've poked around a little to find out this all works.  I tried Google ads, but visitors have to click through the ads and no one ever did, so I made all of 0 cents on that one.

Good thing I hadn't quit my day job yet.

Then I checked out blogher ads and liked what I saw.  I get credit for people visiting my site, whether they click on those ads over there to the right, or not.  The credit is really small because I have a small traffic load, but it's neat to check and see what I've earned each month.  No one has to actually DO anything except visit.

Along with blogherads, I signed up for the bloherbookclub where I can get paid to read!  Because I have a dumbphone, I NEVER get a chance to read the books for pay because I can't respond fast enough to be one of the lucky readers.  Except for this one time, when I happened to be using my gmail when the offer came in and I read The Weird Sisters.  That was a great book, and I got paid $25 for reading and commenting and tweeting about it!  It almost makes me want to buy a smartphone so I can get up to the minute offers and respond in time.  Almost...

Here's my check for reading and for my some of my ads.  I was pretty excited!

Recently, I was offered the chance through blogher ads to have a link to Proctor and Gamble's estore where people can buy products that they usually use and I will earn 10% from those sales!   You will save 10% and I will earn 10%, making us all winners!  All I have to do is tell you a little about a P&G product I use and give you this link Cascade Complete Pacs Dishwasher Detergent - Regular Scent.  I will earn 10% of any sales that you make once you enter the estore through that link.

I happen to use Cascade Complete Pacs Dishwasher Detergent- Regular Scent because I really like the way they clean my dishes.  I don't usually use prepackaged soaps like this in my laundry, but in the dishwasher, they work really well.  My glassware doesn't etch.  My dishes are clean.  And with all of my smell issues, it's shocking to report that I like the smell of this detergent!   I repeat- I LIKE THE SMELL!!   I used another brand of prepackaged dishwasher pods and I did NOT like the smell!

So, here's the story.  If you click on this link, you will reap the following rewards:

1)      10% off all items now through August 31st, 2012
2)      Free shipping over $25
3)      Lots of great Olympic-themed bundles and deals right now.   P&G is a big Olympic sponsor.
4)      You  MUST shop through this link so I can quit my job and be a full time bloggess.
5)      If you would like to share this great deal with family and friends, please send them to my website.  You can email this post directly, and I will also put the link in my sidebar.

Please also come back and leave a comment about whether or not you actually used the P&G estore.  Blogherads is curious and of course, so am I.

In advance, thank you to my readers for clicking through to the P&G estore and helping me earn a little cash for all my blogging efforts!

  1. I have not made any money from blog ads either. I have money in my account, but you have to get to $100 first and I think they take money from me so I never make it... I don't know.

I have been asked a time or two to show a product, but it's something that I'm like, "Have you read my blog?" I'm pretty much anti- that.
Glad you found a happy match. Hoping you can quit your job soon ;)

I love comments almost as much as I love summer. I reply to all comments except those ridiculous anonymous comments offering me dirty deeds and real estate. When you leave your comment, please make sure your own settings will allow me to reply to you. Nothing makes me sadder than replying to your comments and then realizing it’s going to the no-reply@blogger address!
